Round trip time(rtt) calculation for TCP segment

Hi,

I am running a network with TCP traffic generated by the TCPBasicClientApp. The collected statistics shows me the end-to-end delay which I believe is the time taken by a tcp segment to travel from the source application layer to the destination application layer. However, I need to calculate the average round trip time (rtt) for the tcp traffic. Please let me know how can I do that. Looking forward to your help.
