Promiscuous Mode - 802.11 adhoc network

Dear all,

I want to set up promiscuous mode for a routing protocol in 802.11 adhoc network. 

I had a look to the implementation of DSRUU but was unable to determine how to handle this. Furthermore, I did not observe changes whether the boolean PromiscOperation is set or not : it says "this frame is not for us" from mac.dcf module and the frame is then dropped.

I'm probably forgetting something to make this work, as a beginner in OMNET++/INET simulations,  and hope someone could help me.
