Routing table display

Hi omnet++ experts,
     Is there any way I can see the routing table of all individual nodes during/after simulation. For eg: wireless example given in tutorial section. or any other example.

Sorry for asking a basic question though. But I could not resist after trying so much to understand the metric thing used.

Hi all,
  I tried the visualizer given in the below link
https://inet.omnetpp.org/inet-showcases//visualizer/routingtable/

But it was showing that the routing table is empty even though there is a data transfer between fixhost1[0] and fixhost2[2].
Destination and gateway are shown as "unspec" and metric is 0.
Please refer the attachment.

Can someone tell me why this is empty?

I am not using any layer 3 protocol. I was using the "reactive" protocol given in mesh, which I think is a layer 2 protocol.
I want to see MAC address of all nodes and what is their metric to next hop at individual nodes.

These information are not available, or at least is not available if you don’t modify the code.

In the case that you want, when the protocol runs in the link layer, the routing table is maintained in the routing protocol module, it doesn’t exist a routing table module that contains the information,

 

You need to create the operator << and the include the watch in the initialize method. This is the modifications for Dymo-uma that is the default reactive protocol for Ieee80211Mesh

How can we use visualizer for IPRouting in omnet 4.6 Inet 3.3?

In inet tutorial, it is written that visualizer is for INET 3.6.

OMNeT 4.x does NOT have the necessary APIs to draw on module canvas, so you cannot use the INET visualizer modules on OMNeT 4.x

i used **.configurator.dumpRoutes = true for printing routing table of each node but i can't see it. do you have any idea?
