Dear All,

I am using Omnet-4.6 in ubuntu-4.6 inside VirtualBox. I am trying to build inetmanet2.2 (https://github.com/aarizaq/inetmanet-3.x/tree/inetmanet-2.2 ).
I encountering an issue during indexing and subsequently at build time. I have attached the screenshots.

Your earliest help is sincerely required.

Thanking you in advance.

Somtimes you need to select and refresh several times the project. In this case, in underTest is the hip protocol, the protocol is not selected but the directory is marked in the build tree

Dear Alfonso,
Thank you so much. It worked. I reselected the "features" and rebuild the project. :)

Dear Alfonso,
I have another doubt. kindly enlighten me.
I wish to learn Denacast.

(1) Kindly help me by providing any better  way to run without repatedly entering values to the parameters asked by denacast. When it asks so many entries and I entered. But, failed to run simulation (attached screenshots)

(2) There are some error show in the .ini files of Oversim-20121206.

( 3 ) I am eager to know the difference between oversim(Denacast) at https://github.com/aarizaq/Denacast and
oversim(Denacast) at https://github.com/aarizaq/Oversim-20121206.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
please help.
I have successfully built Oversim-20121206 with inetmanet-2.2 in omnet 4.6  in ubuntu 16.04 within virtualbox (Thanks to Alfonso).
Then to run. I entered the unassigned parameters (attached file). still getting error (attached snapshot).
waiting for your valuable input.

Advance Thanks.
Shrestha

Firstly, you should try using a debugger such as valgrind or gdb so that  you can locate where the error actually occurs.

I used to have a little memory problem with oversim but i'm not sure if it's the same with what you are having now cause I can't see what's actually wrong with your simulation with the attached screenshots. From my roughly observation, the problem might occur when the simulation tried generating a tracker.

Hope this helps, I used a debugger to locate and there's some error on getRandomAliveNode function in Simplemesh.cc (JoinOverlay() method). So I made a little change to the code.

from

trackerAddress  = *globalNodeList->getRandomAliveNode(0)

to

trackerAddress  = *globalNodeList->getRandomAliveNode(0,0)

I believe that the function originally requires only 1 argument but eventually it takes 2 now.

This should solve the memory problem on your simulation.

Best,
A.S.
