I want to embed some parameters in the message while traveling between routers specifically in the PPP level. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Thanks in advance

A frame that is traveling between nodes cannot be modified, if you really need it, you can implement a channel with the functionality

Why? is it because the size should be fixed?

No, it is becasue the medium (fiber, coaxial ....) doesn't have the functionality to modify the frames in real application. It is realistic to include a intermediate module that could modify the frame (this is possible) bit the medium cannot modify the frame. In a simulator, you can develop a channel model with this functionality.
If you want to modify the frame, it is more realistic to implement an intermediate module that could modify the frame.
