HLA federate

I'm trying use OmNet++ for co-simulation application using HLA architecture. To do this I wanted to make my own Scheduler for OmNet++. When doing this I started with replicating the standard cScheduler, but right now nothing is working. I have not find any examples how to implement my own Scheduler which made this application very hard. The OmNet++ Manual did not provide much assistance, so I was wondering if anyone could help me with this or maybe has some example code showing how to do this.
