Dear OMNeT++ users,

It is my pleasure to inform that we have developed an OMNeT++ module to evaluate LoRaWAN networks. The model allows to:
- evaluate physical layer and MAC layer,
- simulate one (or more) gateways in the network,
- end-to-end link simulations (from LoRa device to Network Server),
- collect energy consumption in devices.

The source code and the description are available at http://flora.aalto.fi/

Right now the model is still in development stage, but it works. We have used this software to evaluate Adaptive Data Rate in LoRaWAN. On the mentioned website you can find a submitted version of the article which describes our research and the simulator (paper accepted to NOMS 2018 conference).

The source code presented on the webpage works with OMNeT++ 5.0. In next few weeks, we plan to update software to the newest OMNeT++ and inet - the code is done, we are in test phase.

Hi

Just a short information about FLoRa. We have just published a new version (0.7).

What does it mean to the community:
- the code is compatible with the newest OMNeT++ and INET (respectively 5.2.1 and 3.6.3),
- the code is published on Github - feel free to help us with it,
- some small updates.

More info on the webpage: flora.aalto.fi

Best regards,
Mariusz
