Over the centuries, art inspired by birds has been a creative response to the sheer beauty and wonder of the birds that share our world. Undoubtedly birds project more symbolic meaning than any other creatures, from the power of the eagle to the peace of the dove. Bird art has also served more practical purposes: to spread scientific knowledge as well as to promote bird conservation. And collectors have prized bird art for all these reasons, and more.
Explore some of the many facets of bird art through the eyes of artists, curators, scientists, scholars, historians and educators in this engaging series of seven free programs, which all take place via Zoom. All registrants will receive a link to a program recording after each lecture.

Construct a wonder so magnificent, it will leave your mark on history! In 7 Wonders Architects, build one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and gain as many victory points as possible to win the game!
Build your wonder stage by stage: Watch your wonder take shape throughout the game and use its effects with each new stage you construct.
Choose and play: On your turn, choose one of three cards and immediately apply its effect. Your resources, gold, scientific discoveries, and army will guide your civilization to victory!
The game plays over several turns. On your turn, choose one card from the deck to your left, the deck to your right, or the middle deck (above you). The cards represent resources, science symbols, victory points, or military shields. The game ends as soon as one player's Wonder is entirely constructed. The person with the most victory points at the end of the game is the winner.
Resource cards are either grey or yellow. Grey cards represent the resources to construct each level of your Wonder. Yellow cards represent coins that serve as wild cards to replace any resource you need. The number on each level of construction indicate how many resources are required. The symbols indicate if you need resources that are the same or not the same.
Victory point cards are blue. Each victory point card is worth either 2 or 3 victory points. The 2 victory point cards also have a cat symbol, allowing you to claim the cat pawn. Having the cat pawn allows you to see the top card of the middle deck at the start of your turn.
Shield cards are red. Each military shield card contains a shield and either 0, 1, or 2 horns. Collecting shield cards with horns trigger conflict tokens and once all conflict tokens are triggered a battle commences at the end of that player's turn. You gain 3 victory points if you have more shields than each of your neighbors, 0 victory points if they are equal or less. Discard all shield cards with horns after the battle.
Victory points are gained through each constructed level of your Wonder, the cat pawn (2 points), blue cards, military victory tokens, and progress tokens. If there is a tie, the winner is the player who has the most levels of their Wonder constructed.

A born adventurer and heroic spirit, as a child she always sought new things and wondered what lay beyond the shores of her island home. She would eventually get her wish when she first ventured from her secluded home to save the world from destruction at the hands of the Greek god Ares.
Quickly dubbed "Wonder Woman" by the sensationalist media, Diana entered and remained in "Man's World" in the hopes of representing her island nation to the world and to offer and teach a new perspective of peaceful means and equality among a world all too eager to resort to fear and violence to achieve an end.
Granted the ability to return to Patriarch's World by her gods, Diana was unsure on how to fulfill Ares' task but returned to Boston, helped to form the original Justice League of America alongside Batman and Superman, and agreed to hire publicist Myndi Mayer to get her message of peace out to the world at large. However, while spending the next several months touring and saving the world and speaking before the United Nations General Assembly, Diana became perplexed and disheartened with the paranoia and sexism that she encountered. Returning to Boston and self-introduced exile after the JLA was disbanded, Diana and the Kapatelis's were targeted as part of the mass anti-hero ravings of fanatical Psychologist G. Gordon Godfrey. When the anti-hero hysteria abated, Diana was invited to join the reformed Justice League International but she turned the offer down.
During this time, Diana also gained the attention of Barbara Minerva, who desired to take the Lasso of Truth for herself.
After aiding her gods in ascending to create a new Mount Olympus, Diana comes to the idea that perhaps the world would be more open to her message if they knew how the Amazons lived and encourages her sisters to open their island to a select group of dignitaries from the United Nations before later conducting their own tour of the United States. However, the Amazons are framed for a series of murders and thefts during their stay in Gotham City as orchestrated by Circe as part of her plan to unbalance potential threats in her plan to fulfill the witch-god Hecate's vengeance against the Greek gods by instigating a war amongst the various heavenly pantheons. While she manages to destroy the Amazons' intended "tour of peace", coerce the pantheons into fighting each other (whereby the Roman Gods pit their champion, Shazam, against the Greek pantheon's champion, Diana), brainwash Hippolyta as serving as the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall's new Shim'tar, and temporarily killing Diana by reverting her back into the clay from which she was created, Circe's plan was ultimately thwarted when Superman martial the world's heroes against her and the Phantom Stranger, the Spectre, and Deadman resurrected Diana.
