THAKUR was very particular about removing the worldly desires of devotees, and He imparted the message of restraint and renunciation in various ways. THAKUR said- 'entire treasure of your spiritual practice forever resides within your own heart...' Here is a small incident where we see Thakur propelling a saint in the 'inward path'...

My THAKUR assures- 'Just keep calling out! He knows better than you as to what is good for you and what is bad for you. What has been God-given must be reasonable – it has to be! Why fear?'

NAAM YOGA of Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath~

Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath proclaimed that a Bhakta reaches the pinnacle of Yogic feats only by chanting Nam. Thakur has documented His philosophy in the following verses~
'Jopo jodi Ram naam tumi onibar,
Kono jog proyojon hobena tomar.
Jagiben Ma amar Ram nam shuni,
Jopo naam re pothik,dibos rojoni.'
MEANS-
'Chanting the Ram Nam, if you continue,
No other yoga will be necessary for you.
Hearing Ram Nam, the Mother will awaken,
O Traveller, day and night, chant Holy Name.'
Dayal Maharaj [Ramdayal majumdar Mahasay] was a renowned Yogi, a disciple of Sri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahasay. He taught some yogic mudras, but practising these mudras was very difficult for Sitaram, as He was in a state transcending all the Chakras. Samadhi was a spontaneous and common event of His spiritual life. Sitaram narrated His difficulties to Dayal Maharaj, and the Yogi remarked-'You have completed all works by JAPA, how will You bring down the Prana?! Go, You need no further Yogas~!'

The implementation of this NamYoga has found expression even in the lives of Thakur’s Leelaparsads. Once,in Varanasi, Sri Madhav Swamiji had attained a stage where he had no control of his body.. there were spontaneous mudras and utterance of Omkar and various slokas, and he was unable to do 'seva'. Thakur used to tell other disciples to look after Swamiji, and after coming down to worldly consciousness, Swamiji used to enquire about Thakur's seva. At that time, Thakur most endearingly dragged Swami Hariharananda ji to an almost dark and desolate room where the most devoted sadhak-disciple Sriman Madhav Swamiji, was in a samadhi state for days-- almost without any food or drinks.
'Look, here is your YOGA'-exclaimed Sri Thakur so fondly. What exactly he wanted to convey to Swamiji is that Yoga- samadhi is also possible by virue of Naam-japa, Guru-seva and above all, SriGuru-kripa.

Jai Guru Arka -- Few days back you had shared with us a story narrated by Thakur --" Imli Ke beej ".......referring to sharing your concerns with Him and when time will come He will surely reward us/ bless us and grant our wish.

A month back on FB when you had shared pictures of Dwarkadheesh ashram Jotyaditta Brahamchari dada has shared his concern on the condition of our mutt and that we all should take initiative- basis which you had met Vitthal Dada and has shared this concern.

Ashimanand dada too has expressed through a beautiful poem dedicated to Dwarka Ashram and Old pictures of Thakur and His father at Gujrat.





THAKUR IS LISTENING......Vitthal Maharaj along with His Omkareshwar team did a 2 day journey to Bet Dwarka last week......and surveyed this Ashram. Architects were consulted to undertake repair / construction work......

So the first and most important step with Baba's grace was taken in less than one month of your visit to Dwarka.......We will get to know more details once Maharaj/ Mukesh Bhai and team they are back.


Lets all start keeping some money aside / savings for this noble cause...so that the work can start in phases.

Thank you for the mail and the concern. I fully subscribe to the cause and the way out. One of the most important aspect of the Ashram is that ours is the nearest one to the Main temple of Dwarakadish at Bet Dwaraka and is a fairly big structure. I had the chance to visit that once.

However, what shocks me is that we don't have any any proof of its affiliation with the  AB JaiGuru Sampradaya (I wish I am wrong). Even the Bank account is in the name of the priest, which is never correct. The priest voiced an expenditure of several lakhs for the maintenance. This I resisted strongly and requested that an account in the name of "Shri Ranchord Ashram" be opened immediately, maintaining all the formalities or paraphernalia and then only people will come forward for donation. I have also talked with Shri Vithal Maharaj on this over, phone but to no effect till date. The priest says that Gopalda has said that a Trust Body will be required for opening an account in the name of the Ashram. My point is what ever is required or is essential, should be done forthwith.

Hope You are doing good.  Maharaj did mention yesetrday about separate bank account / gist of His conversation with architect and rough cost estimate --- but I was so excited to hear that the entire team is in Bet Dwarka and finally construction work will be undertaken that I dont remember all other details.They shall be back in MP in 3 days time, will tell Mukesh chaturvedi dada to share details with Arka so that he can inform us all.


Your Naam Kirtan boxes are ready with me.....will try and send at the earliest

Thank you for your prompt reply. I am happy with the developments mentioned.

Today sisters of Mayur Vihar had "Nam Sankirtan" in our house. Coming back from office, I found during their closing hours that all were in highly spirited. They do it on monthly basis on rotation as is in Tagore's place . As the program finished, I switched on the "Nam" sent by you. Al were extremely jubilant and many wanted one box. I promised them one, may be each. Thus the load is on you, can you make it 20 for me.

Let Dwarkadhish Ashram be the first one in the list to be renovated and then pick another project .. could be kanyakumari or Uttarkashi … One by one visiting all the ashrams of Thakur and bringing them back to life where ever needed ..
