Sri Thakur Sitaramdas Omkarnath has written- ‘I visualized the
five-faced Shiva, standing with Trisul in right hand and Damru in left
hand…
I asked Him- ‘Who are You?’
Shiva said- ‘I am Your Guru. I came earlier in Your childhood, You didn’t recognize Me at that time. Thus, I have come again.’
I said- ‘If You are my Guru, then show Me My Ista.’
Shiva started to chant My Mantra, and a Motherly figure appeared from His left shoulder.
I asked- ‘Who are You?’
She said- ‘I am Your Mother’… and thereafter, She took My radiant soul in Her lap and continued to utter IstaMantra... Guru [Shiva] danced with the chanting of IstaMantra, which gradually became ‘Ram Ram’, and thereafter ‘Om Om…’

Sri Madhav Swamiji explains- “A mysterious event occurred in this darsan. Thakur had prayed for IstaDarsan. The GuruShakti is the Power which fascilitates IstaDarsan… Even Mahavirji was given Gyan by SitaDevi, as per Raam’s advice. Even here, Maa [GuruShakti] appeared to fascilitate Thakur’s Istadarsan. And what did She do? She didn’t give the vision of any separate Deity. She showed Thakur’s radiant soul to Thakur. Thakur’s Ista is ram, and there was no separate RamDarsan, as Thakur is Ram Himself --Jagadguru Shiva showed this explicitly. Moreover, Shiva continued to chant RamRam, to prove that Shiva is Ram’s Guru, and Shiva’s Guru is Ram!! Thus Shiva danced and chanted RamRam to reveal- ‘Oh Ram, You have come in this Form.’ Shiva revealed this so clearly, that we have no scope of any doubt…”
