JAI GURU Soumya has beautifully narrated the spiritual essence of Rabindranath Tagore's compositions. Tagore's songs and poems are so much enriched with devotion and self-surrender that our Thakur has named him KABI-RAJ....
Thakur has frequently quoted lines from Tagore to complement his spiritual narrations.
Moreover, Thakur once worshipped Tagore's photo along with photos of other saints.
There was criticism from various narrowminded institutions.
but they were silenced by a letter from Sri Madhav Swamiji which made them aware of their critical minds, along with Thakur's magnanimious gesture and also the greatness of Tagore not only as a composer but also an enigma in the field of spirituality.

Jay Guru,
"Rabindranath" nothing to say about him. Rabindranath is Rabindranath. This name is blending with every Bengalis life. His writings, his songs are immortal, classics. His Songs which are specially of Puja Porjay carry such inner meanings that one will find a Saint in him rather a Poet.
"Ei Akashe amar mukti aloy aloy, amar mukti dulai dulai ghashe ghashe...." feeling "HIM" in everything, or "Amar e Pran tomari dan tumi dhonno dhonno hey" his gratitude to the almighty exposed A Brahmadorshi Rabindranath. I must thank Soumya for throwing light on such an nice topic to discuss. --- On Thu, 13/5/10, arka ghosh <arkagh...@yahoo.co.in> wrote: |
jai guru,
robithakur writes,
"j tomay chare charuk, ami tomay charbona ma.
ami tomar charon
mago, ami tomar charon karbo sharon, ar karo dhar dharbona ma."
though kabiguru writes this in context to motherland yet we know even
vedas described the Mother as country and nature,so we can find the
resemblence of the two lines of traikalik prarthana and this song in
its meanings.
jai guru.
