Joy Guru,
In a debate in this group, a question was put by Sri Priyanath
Chattopadhyay “Can I be blessed to get the updated information about
the proposed Delhi Ashram in the central Capital?”
And in the reply to this Dr. S.S.Lahiri, Vice President of Jai Guru
Sampradaya declared “We are going to purchase a piece of land in the
identified easily approachable place as projected. This will be before
the end of Oct.2010. However, in view of acute fund crisis, we shall
purchase a small piece of land.”
This is my humble question to Dr. S.S.Lahiri “Has Jai Guru Sampradaya,
Delhi started process to procure the land for this holy cause? Will he
narrate the detailed current position in this context?”

Thank you dear Sh. Asit for your interest on the Ashram in Delhi.
Please be informed that our resources turned out to be dismal. Thus
we have confined our approach to an office including a Guest House for Nam and
holding meeting and place for our Saints and devotees visiting Delhi. We shall execute
the job before 31st Oct and be engaged on that front after the Dashera.
I request please be in touch with Sh. Jotirmoy Ray our Gen. Secy. (find his EID from Cc sent)
as I shall be visiting overseas from 20th Oct.
With renewed thanks for your interest on Delhi Ashram.

My humble suggestion to the respected governing body would be that many of the donors who have already contributed their mights as called out by the revered initiators, may have done so with an aspiration to take part in the vision originally circulated and hence, if the scale of execution is so severely downsized or altered, then propriety demands that those who have contributed in response to the circulated vision, should be consulted or at least informed thru a letter about this apparent change of plans.
I may also again suggest that if the amount collected is so meagre that we will not be able to give shape to the vision circulated, then another option could be to hold the fund in high-yield investments till more contributions come forward. May I also suggest that the list of donors with amounts so far may be shared with all (except of those who have particularly sought that their names are not shared with others) so that others may get inspired to come forward and join in with whatever they can for the envisioned noble cause.

Shubho Bijoya, I am totally agreed with Sri Amar Chatterjee. Sri Lahiri or any other responsible office bearer of Jai Guru Sampradaya, Delhi especially Secretary of the committee must clarify this matter to avoid any controversy and problem in future.

It was committed by Jai Guru Sampradaya, Delhi in a leaflet that the
land for purposed Delhi Ashram will be purchased till March, 2010.
However the program was extended by unknown reasons but it was re-

Dear All Concerned,
Jai Guru!
Why not clarify these points once for all and move forward? After all, those who have contributed for the ashram as it was projected, and many of those who have not yet contributed but may have been trying to do so as soon as they can, would both be keen to know these- isn't it?
