I am analyzing bulk RNA seq of 2 different cell conditions (Cisplatin-induced senescent A549 cells compared to  normal control A549 cancer cells ). The goal is to identify potential new compounds to selectively kill the senescent cells and I am using the drug connectivity module for this. Based on the CTRPv2/sensitivity database, should I look here at compounds with a negative or a positive NES? I looked at the ones with a negative NES and confimed that they can indeed selectively kill senescent cells. Also, several known compounds that kill senescent cells display a negative NES, but I am not entirely sure <hich ones to actually look at...

Thanks in advance!
