Hey guys, the half day where incoming freshmen come to pioneer is this wednesday.  I'll man a booth and if anyone wants to join be that'd be great.  I talked to mr.white about the robot and he said it would be okay to bring it but we shouldn't turn it on, so if someone could help me move it that would be awesome.

Waaaahhhhhhhhh I won't be there. :( I have finals and crap tomorrow. Good luck! Turn the robot on anyways or the event won't be of much use. Just don't do anything stupid with it – use discretion for when it's okay to leave it on.

If you're in the gym, DO NOT DRIVE IT. At all. It makes marks on the floor and then people get ticked at us. Just run the manipulator.

Be sure to bring lots of balls!

If he specified not to turn it on I wouldn't turn it on... Also if daniel is there u can't turn it on anyway and do anything because he has the controllers and controls

This is a good point! We need to set up an additional controller.

When administration says things like "don't turn it on" they typically expect us to be driving it around all the students and making chaos. Powering it up to show flashy lights and stuff, especially if there isn't even a controller there, is essentially harmless. However, it's not my decision. I can say that flashy lights are always a good thing when trying to recruit naive 8th graders, though.

i agree!! flashy lights are always a good thing!! also, if someone by any chance drives it around, i am NOT cleanin up the marks like last time!! :P Daniel wont b able to come so we cant drive it tho... i am gonna TRY to b there... gonna ask my mom today... also, sam, did u really want me to make the poster board thing??

that would be really nice.  the lazier option would be to just take a bunch of pictures from Le's dropbox and put it on a poster board.  either would work.

so how are we going to get the robot there and back?
