Electro magnet for TC

Hi, all,

We need some way to keep the balls contained in the manipulator until we're ready for deployment. Two options are a solenoid, or an electro magnet. We don't have solenoids. FIRST poses restrictions on solenoids. Solenoids need more programming and more expensive electronics to drive. Instead, I suggest we use an electro magnet to keep that door on the conveyer belt shut until we're ready for deployment.

After looking around for a few hours, I've found that this one looks like our best bet. It's (relatively) inexpensive, and plenty powerful. It is rated for 24vdc, but I think we can get away just fine with 12vdc. If not, I'll return it later…

What are your thoughts. I'd like to have it ordered by 2100, to ensure delivery to the hotel in TC.

FYI, this was ordered a few minutes ago. It's shipping to TC.
