Charlotteis survived by her son Brad (Nora) Hill of Abbotsford, Grandson Tyler, niece Alice Stein of Chilliwack, Brother Ren Frederking of Grass Valley, California and sisters; Elennor Schlosser of Calgary, Dorothy Wedder of Victoria and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She appreciated the support this group of women gave her through difficult times over the years. She looked forward to her yearly visit to her brother, Ren, in Desert Hot Springs, Calif. She also owned a trailer at Black Mountain Ranch in Washington and enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful trees that brought her peace.

Walk trails start at the trailhead/picnic shelter near the parking area and progress up the rocky stairs onto the flat hill of Mount Matilda. It is recommended to bear left and follow the loop in a clockwise direction.

Allow at least three hours for the full 7.3km circuit following yellow markers with a thorny devil symbol or choose the shorter 4.8km Wildflower Trail following yellow markers with a malleefowl symbol.
