Dear ModelShare community,
The past few months of ModelShare workshops have been an exciting journey of community-development and knowledge-sharing. And the journey is not over!
We are now working on the academic publication capturing all the learnings from the workshops. The publication's timeline is as follows:
- First draft completed by ModelShare team by 31 May
- Co-authors (i.e.: OMF colleagues and workshop speakers) providing inputs 03-16 June
- Integration of co-authors' inputs 17-23 June
- Preprint peer-review 24-30 June << This is where you can help!
- Integration of reviewers' comments 01-07 July
- Published as a preprint and submitted to journal by 12 July
During w/c 24 June, we will invite you to review the paper we will publish. Your review will be instrumental in ensuring the paper is of the highest quality. Reviewers will be acknowledged as such in the preprint.
We recommend you allocate time in your diary that week for this task. The paper will not be too long, as it follows a
Ten Simple Rules format (and is intended to be published by PLOS).
So keep an eye out for an email from us on 24 June!
Thank you for your participation so far,
Ismael
