Nois no working. Even I realized that I got the whole partition table including those ones that I didt save. I eliminated them with Parted Magic fixing that way the partition table errors was showing. I left only the 100mb partition and the system partition and nothing. It was MBR not GPT. I can still have access to the system partition from the LiveCD but the 100mb its empty at all and of course the system is not loading.
Thnaks in advance as always and youre doing a GOOD JOB
I tried updating everything, even setting the negotiation manually to 1GB and 2.5GB with full duplex, still nothing, won't go up faster than 100mb/s, I'm using a cat6e cable so that's not the issue, my other computers on the same LAN are at 600mb/s and even with the wi-fi on any phone I can get up to 250mb/s so it's clearly an issue with the Ethernet controller/HW.
Could you please provide me any solution to this issue?
I would hate to have to dissasemble my build and have to send back the motherboard just for the Ethernet card, as I do not plan to buy an extra PCIe Ethernet card just because I got some faulty Hardware...
To set your expectations, the end result may lead to us referring you to the Asus support team since the built-in ethernet controller on your system, has been customized by Asus: firmware customized, driver customized.
1. Based on the error that you received, you could be limited by the port on the router. Given that one computer via LAN is working okay, have you tried connecting it on the same port where that computer is connected to? Please also try the cable used on that machine if possible.
We need to close this thread since we have not gotten a response from you: maybe because you are busy or preoccupied at the moment. We know that this is important for you to get it resolved and it is also equally important for us to give you the right solution; as much as we would like to assist you, we need to close it to attend to other customers. We hope for your consideration and understanding on this one.
I can pickup where Nil0r left off as I just purchased an ASUS ROG Strix B550-A Gaming motherboard with the I225-V network card and I'm experiencing the same issues. I have tried the previous suggestions and still yielded the same results of 100Mbps being my throughput cap. Please advice.
Can anyone tell me WTF Intel is still selling garbage broken network adapters?? This problem has been going on for over a year and still after a myriad of issues this trash product is still being sold!!??? I just bought a new Asus TUF Z690 and now I experience trash download speeds, speedtest is fine but downloads from Nvidia or other places my X570 board Asus Hero board had ZERO issues this garbage network adapter downloads from 2mbyte to maybe10 MAX. Some downloads are fine others are not. THIS IS A TRASH PRODUCT since it's a problem that has been existing for a very long time, why are you keep selling customers trash??
Hi, MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI motherboard user here...
Same problem occurs on my brand new motherboard too. I've build 12900K and DDR5 system for office but I can't even connect office's LAN network... Capping adapter's speed to 100mbps Full Duplex from PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility with latest driver (1.0.2.14) is working but this speed is literally from 15 years early
Intel says ethernet controller can handle 2.5 Gbps but in realty we are getting 0.1 Gbps; it is just funny.
This problem has existed since the internet controller was released, and since it appears on different motherboards from different manufacturers with different chipsets, different configurations of computers connected to different routers with different cables, there must be a problem with the internet controller itself. Since different drivers haven't solved the problem for years, maybe there is a physical problem.
I managed to solve my problem by inserting an extra unnecessary switch. So, remembering that the computer was in an office environment, I first connected the LAN cable coming from the computer to an unnecessary switch to which no other device was connected, then to the general switch of the office, and then to the modem.
At first the problem was not solved, but after unplugging it again, we have been able to get full speed without any problems for 2 years. I have no idea why it solved the problem, but you know, if it works, it's not stupid.
I'm sure there's something wrong with this controller itself, but for some reason, it's surprising that the controller, which is so widely used on so many motherboards, doesn't receive proper support from Intel.
Have a nice life, man! cya.
I did run into this issue after installing the latest drivers, and suddenly I had max 100 Mb/s speeds, I fixed it by completely uninstalling the device and it's drivers (after uninstalling and restarting pc it worked automatically), however I installed drivers again but now not the latest one but second to latest and for now I don't see the issue in this driver. I did that because before all that I had a problem when from time to time I was having DNS errors that forced me to restart my network card to even load any website, and it stopped after downloading latest drivers, but this issue appeared hopefully it's also fixed with drivers I installed now and everything will work as should from beginning.

hi, i am moving all my google photos to apple photos. i got them exported and sorted in my pc (windows) and then i logged into
icloud.com. i hv 2tb icloud sub so space it not a limitation. now video files greater than 100mb icloud is not allowing to upload. how do i correct this, any setting or any other alternate way to achieve this. pls suggest asap
thanks for the clarity. but limiting it to 100mb is such a limitation in the current times when video's file sizes are getting bigger. seems apple folks should see this thread and change things around. i want the convenience to see my digital content in 1 place, shot from any device and no limitation to upload the icloud photos. i thut it will be easier and hence i moved from google photos to icloud photos. so much of effort so such a limitation.
No, you won't be able to see it in photos. You can use iCloud Drive files app and then download the video to your computer to play but it will not be in photos. Photos has a sync limit of 100MB. iCloud individual files can be up to 50GB in size.
I am suggesting that the Malwarebytes team's next priority is to reduce ram usage to less than 100mb. All the Antiviruses like Avast, Norton, Kaspersky never used this much ram for active protection. What is preventing this issue from being solved? How can a computer with only 4gb of ram even operable with Malwarebytes premium.
If you fix this problem, a lot of people, a lot of people would be hugely impressed with you guys. I know this maybe hard since you have so many great protection assets. But take this as the next big challenge for more widespread adoption.
I don't care how smart you are. I guess you're not smart with dealing with people. For being so smart, 10.4% of the ram of 3.5GB of the computer is still a lot David! Just let me take 10.4% of your bank account, and see if you're happpppy.
I think a lot of that memory goes to the web protection shield... as when I was running MBAMv3 last, I tried turning off the resident web shield, and it dropped from the 350MB+ to approximately 100MB. So if you want to remove the protection.... then yeah, there is a way to reduce it, but unless your computer is running slow, and running out of memory for your programs... then it doesn't matter, and MBAM should have the memory it needs to do it's job.
Memory reporting on Windows can be a bit confusing at times. If you look the attached screenshot from the Resource Monitor, you'd be forgiven for thinking that I only have 27MB of memory free (since that is what is stated!). However. when you look at the "Available" line it says 7648MB. Huh? How do you get 7648MB into 27MB? Because, if you look at the "Standby" section of the graph, it says there is 7621MB of the memory in standby. That's cached data that isn't actively in use. It's there just in case it is needed, otherwise, it's free "Available" memory. Thankfully the task manager is a bit better behaved. When you look at "Memory" on the "Performance" tab... it says that I currently have 4.3GB of memory in use, and 7.5GB of memory available. It's only further down that it tries to trip you up again by reporting 7.5GB of cached memory
But I digress. As far as memory usage... as long as you have enough available memory that Windows isn't swapping memory out to your hard drive... you have enough free memory! It's there to be used after all!
I thought I should add some info here to try to clear things up as best I can with regards to our RAM usage and other performance metrics. First off, Malwarebytes has several modules that protect against various threats and attack vectors (4 currently; 5 if you count self-protection) so that has something to do with it. Also, we've discovered that keeping as much of our database loaded into memory as possible actually results in better overall system performance, not worse. The reason for this is simply because many AVs/other anti-malware products, in order to seem like they are using less resources/RAM etc. will actually not load much of their database(s) into memory until a new file is downloaded/executed etc. This results in often serious lag when attempting to run a new process in memory (even clean processes) as they end up having to scan the item/load those databases anyway. We avoid eating up so much CPU by keeping our databases in memory so that analysis and detection (if something is a threat) are almost instantaneous.
