Omeka folks,

 

I don’t intend to hijack the list, but I thought any Omeka folks who are involved in theming/front end development might be interested in this conference.

 

edUi is a web design/development, user experience, user interface design conference happening in Richmond, VA Sept. 24-26th. It's especially suited for web professionals working with institutions of learning, but anyone looking to sharpen up their skills is welcome.

 

Our early bird registration deadline is this Friday. Tickets are $450 and go up to $550 after the early bird deadline. Full time students can attend for $200.

 

We’ve got some really stellar speakers including Jared Spool, Whitney Hess, Jason Cranford Teague and Derek Featherstone, talking about things like jQuery, responsive design, web accessibility, content strategy, etc.
