OmegaT+ 1.0.M3 is coming soon, hold your breath for a little while longer.
If anyone has any comments or feedback, make them known. Any feature requests
can be files on the project pages (so they are easier to track).
For those doing localization, I will get around to sending a new localization
file for update soon. Not that many segments to update/translate in any event.
Anyway here is a rundown of the features in progress.
Done:
- faster project open
- shortcuts localization
- menu item radio buttons (added where relevant)
- open web browser (default one)
- OmegaT+ icon/splash
Initial work done (first effort)
- toolbars
- translation = original in project
- Messages View (shows program messages in a separate view)
- font configuration update (Messages View, View Titles)
- open document externally (original only, translation later)
- skips version control system files (CVS, Subversion, Git, Visual
SourceSafe) when reading/translating project.
Partial work done (in progress)
- search terms highlights (for easier viewing)
- Status bar changes (segment number and position, removal of most
messages, document filename)
- document filters updates
- localization update/additions (Italian, Polish added)
Remaining (ToDo)
- documentation updates
- text conversion of original/translation documents (next version?)
- Spellchecking (on hold until another version)
- Google translate (on hold until another version)
