   There are numerous studies linking oxidative stress to numerous health problems that are more likely than not induced by prolonged electric field exposures whether due to effects of sleeping close to electronics of all sorts;  cellular antennae;  close and/or distant WiFi;  close proximity to  high voltage power lines, and/or "ambient electric field levels" due to combined sources of EMF/RF/Microwaves.
 
I believe you are correct, Olle, that plants and all life-forms are affected in similar fashion.   Like the extremely serious situation re harm being caused to humans and their pets, "specific studies" re close electric field exposures to trees/foliage/plants, insects, birds, etc. are not being done.   
 
Answers re prion changes in elk or deer antler velvet, unusual behaviors in sharks and whales and dementia-like problems in humans and other neurodegenerative disorders,  will continue to elude scientists unless and until we are successful in obtaining urgent funding for you, Olle, as Project Leader with major  focus on essential "close electric field evaluations."     Only through facts gathered via studies re close exposures,  will society be able to make responsible decisions as to how much needs to be done to save the earth re serious "Blue World exposures!"   
 
I have been working on an appeal to the Bill and Melinda Gates' Foundation for funding Prof. Olle Johansson for several years.   Such a funding request is basically impossible since there is not a single symptom or disease that appears not to either be causally linked and/or exacerbated by close electric field exposures --  particularly "nighttime exposures,"  when natural melatonin production is compromised.     Healthcare systems will be impossible to sustain.   Autism-spectrum disorder diagnoses, as well as early Alzheimers-like diagnoses  are "exploding!"
 
By copy of this email, I am now appealing to the Bill and Melinda Gates for funding to be directed to Prof. Olle Johansson, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden, as Project Director, "Close Electric Field Exposure Research Program."

Novel infectious particles, termed prions, composed largely and perhaps solely of a single protein, are the likely causative agents of a group of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies that produce lethal decline of cognitive and motor function.  As if the notion of a transmissible pathogenic protein is not jarring enough, evidence indicates that the responsible protein arrives at a pathogenic state by misfolding from a normal form that has ubiquitous tissue distribution. The remarkable nature of these diseases and the nature of the prion protein conversion process as we currently understand it are reviewed below."      [ snip ]
