I can't seem to reproduce your "save as" problem with running Chrome Version 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10. FormIt "MenuSave Sketch asLocally" opens a dialogue box allowing me to give the sketch a new name, sets that new name as the active sketch and downloads the file to the download directory Chrome points to (ie the default C:\users\myuser.name\downloads).
Thanks for the reply. Not sure what I am doing wrong, if anything. I change the file name to match the file in directory but it still adds a number in brackets so I end up with numerous copies. Seems to be ok on ipad though? Is there a way to save the file direct to job folder?
I understand that you are trying to overwrite the existing sketch file in your download directory with the Web version of FormIt. The appended number showing up in each "downloaded" sketch is added by Windows automatically when the same file name is copied to a folder.
My hunch is that when FormIt runs in a web browser, it doesn't have read and write permissions like the Windows version. It therefore "uploads" a file when "opening locally" and "downloads" a file when "saving locally". So each save downloads a new copy of you sketch which Windows renames and increments the number in the file name. Your most up to date sketch files is therefore the file with the highest number (also the latest date/time).
I don't think the Web version of FormIt allows you to save in specific folder because of the "downloading" versus "saving" issue. I think you're stuck with manually copying your latest saved sketches when closing FormIt from the download directory to your project directory then erase the multiple sketch files left over in the downloads directory.
- Ipad: I know that "saving locally" overwrites the previous save as expected but this means you have to "save as" to make your own backups/archives then reload the original saved sketch to continue with the original name.
Apple made popular this full-featured mp3 player-organizer and now it has a new version which is available for Windows users too. iTunes is thought to be one of the most completes tools to organize and play mp3 music files and the perfect partner for your iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod touch or iPhone. No matter the iPod you have, iTunes will suit it perfectly.
With iTunes you will be able to create and edit your playlists, search for your sound collection, create CD jewel inserts using album art and song listings. copy to your HD the music in your CDs or even create and burn your own CDs.
And if you have an iPod or an iPhone, you can sync it with iTunes, fast, effortless, and simple with the built-in Auto-Sync. Keep your iPod filled with all the newest additions to your iTunes library.
Yes, iTunes (64-bit) still runs on Windows. Apple replaced it in macOS Catalina in 2019, but on Windows it is still supported, including updates and other new features to make it easier for iPhone and iPad devices to interact with Microsoft's operating system.
To transfer files from iPhone to PC with iTunes (64-bit), you have to connect your iPhone via USB to your PC. After that, click on the device icon, and click on Settings to see what kind of content can be synchronized. After selecting it, click on synchronize, and all the items you have synchronized will be copied to the PC.
Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.
You can also click on the button below to start Autodesk FormIt Pro 2023 Free Download. Also, this is a complete offline installer and standalone setup for Autodesk FormIt Pro 2023. Also, this would be compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.
We, after significant effort, successfully installed and ran the AI2Starter program on your computer yesterday. i do not understand why you would say this?
For some reason, the web connection is not working (for you)
We await further input from MIT devs on this.
The emulator package for Ubuntu is fairly old at this point, but it should still work. The major challenge when using it on newer versions of Linux is that most distributions are now primarily 64-bit, as the emulator and its supporting utilities are 32-bit. I set up a VM using Ubuntu 21.10 and determined that the following should work in a clean environment:
You mentioned compiling and installing APKs on a phone, which suggests you have an Android phone. If so, it's probably easier to use the recommended testing method and install the MIT AI2 Companion app from the Play Store and use that instead of working with the emulator, which bundles a fairly old version of Android. See this page for more details.
Ok, so it looks like aiStarter is running somewhere. Did you leave a copy running in the background at some point? You can try running killall aiStarter and then re-running /usr/google/appinventor/commands-for-Appinventor/aiStarter to ensure you only have a single process. Normally you will see a log stream in the terminal window containing aiStarter, which will help with debugging any issues going forward.
I've been using PuTTY with Kerberos authentication to connect to a server for work, but accidentally overwrote my settings with a blank template (not sure why the Save and Load buttons are right next to each other...). Now, even when I believe I have the settings set up the same way they were before, I can't connect using PuTTY; I get the error message
I've seen plenty online about when that message returns with the server sending pubkey, but my message has the server sending nothing, which I can't find online. I've tried getting a new Kerberos key, letting PuTTY look for the key manually, and specifying the gssapi32.dll file myself, all to no avail.
What is strange to me is that WinSCP will connect to the server just fine, and there's nothing special in the connection settings there. However, when I have WinSCP open a PuTTY session I get the same error message when I try to connect. I've already checked to make sure WinSCP isn't just opening an already saved session, and it didn't solve the problem.
64-bit PuTTY before version 0.71 incorrectly tries to load 32-bit version of MIT Kerberos DLL. This obviously fails and PuTTY falls back to Microsoft SSPI (which is probably not set up on your system, so it fails too). This was fixed in PuTTY 0.71.
So either upgrade to PuTTY 0.71. Or if you you are stuck with an older PuTTY version, you have to manually specify a path to 64-bit DLL in "User-supplied GSSAPI library path" box at "Connection > SSH > Auth > GSSAPI"
Problem seems to be solved after looking at the bitness of all of the software. I was running 64-bit PuTTY, but it was trying to look for the 32-bit Kerberos file. I directed it to the 64-bit Kerberos file, and I was able to connect to the server. Thank you to Martin and grawity!
