Darkcreatures are magical creatures who are associated with evil, night, and darkness. They live to oppose their counterparts, the Light Creatures. Many of them serve rulers such as the Demon King or the Underking.
Dark creatures are malevolent beings who are dark by nature, or beings who had been turned dark by an outside force. Most are considered "creatures," though there are some mortal beings that fall under this category, such as blixes or witches. While as equally dangerous as their counterparts, they are considered greater threats because of their more violent natures. Caretakers aim to keep dark creatures thriving without endangering the rest of the world.
At magical preserves, dark creatures are kept in restricted areas where they are unable to quarrel with other creatures. This also ensures that human residents living there won't run across them, at least if they are being careful. For most of the year the dark beings are kept in their respective areas, but on specific nights, Festival Nights, they are able to roam free. The more hazardous beings such as demons usually hibernate.
Some dark creatures aren't granted relative freedom in preserves. Instead, they are imprisoned in places such as Fablehaven's dungeons. The worst dark creatures reside in Zzyx, the great demon prison. Some remain free but live separately from humans, such as the subjects of the Underking who reside in the Under Realm.
Dark creatures' abilities vary. They have control over curses, disease, poison, and black magic. Most are stronger during the night, as they find power in the darkness. Many dark creatures radiate irrational fear, which could paralyze nearby mortals. They also possess abilities such as flight, inhuman strength, and sharpened senses.
There is such a large difference in the amount of players due to this reason for the teams, that it has reached a point when a point multiplier is absolutely utterly useless, resulting in the point gap
As a light user i do really feel bad for dark, they're behind and it's going to take more effort to catch up. In addition, it's going to start negatively affecting collectors on light side too, since dark's members won't be getting enough duplicate Irizah and Mage's Curse material to start selling... i've been searching for mage's curse for so long and i can't find a single one ?
The Creatures Workshop is a room in which not only creatures are presented, but their creation is explained. You can see completely formed creatures, or ones in the process of being created, or get explanations about how an animatronic works, or the different stages of the Werewolf costume building.
According to Scamander, Acromantulas have eight eyes (like most spiders), black hair and a legspan that can reach fifteen feet. They are capable of human speech (FBAWTFT and CoS). All that had to be featured in the Aragog that was to appear on screen in CoS.
For the dead Aragog in HBP, a new spider was created, immobile and with that particular translucence dead spiders have and that makes them so ghostly. It weighed 750 kg, so that when Hagrid pushed it into the grave it delivered the proper effect.
Dark creatures appear as small, black coloured creatures, with a pair of small arms and legs, along with two white eyes. Dark creatures appear very small, no more than 60% the height of the angels. Their head and body have no separation. When they jump, the dark creatures point their arms and legs down and back behind them.
Dark creatures are primarily enemies from the Twin Shot series, and first encountered in level 3 of Twin Shot. They are the first type of dark creature introduced. Many dark creatures are encountered armed or using a creature throughout the game. Basic dark creatures, however, are armed with nothing, but are very agile. They are faster than the player and other dark creatures.
Unarmed dark creatures are usually encountered in groups, and jump around a lot, causing them to be difficult to hit and hard to avoid. Despite usually being hard to hit, they often are caught in a glitch where they are stuck in one place, rapidly moving back and forth while on top of an arrow. During this glitch, the player can easily kill them.
Dark creatures will follow the player casually, only going toward the player's general area, but not exactly on them. Dark creatures will harm the player if they come in contact with them, but the dark creature will suffer no damage from making contact.
Unarmed dark creatures cannot pick up weapons, as none exist solitary, only using this simple attack for fighting the player. Unarmed dark creatures, however, can enter clouds in Twin Shot 2 (which were not present in the original Twin Shot).
Dark creatures appear in Nitrome Must Die as enemies. Dark creatures wearing helmets appear in two levels, both being the same, and the purple pig of the rider dark creature appears in one level in level set 81-90, rode by an executive. Unarmed dark creatures appear in a few levels of Nitrome Must Die, the first level they appear in being a level with several small platforms and many dark creatures, similar to a level from Twin Shot. This level has rockets in it. Dark creatures behave as they did in the Twin Shot series, being one of the few enemies in Nitrome Must Die to retain their behavior from the game they originated from.
Dark creatures appear in groups, and are very agile. However, they are not as agile as they were in the Twin Shot Series. They will follow a pattern in the levels they appear in, moving in one direction, then reversing direction or dropping down. Afterwards, they repeat the entire process. Because of this, the player can lie and wait for a dark creatures to come, making the player's attacks always capable of hitting one. Dark creatures, like in the Twin Shot Series, have low health; they will also be harmed when falling on spikes.

In Call of Dragons, you will find different types of neutral units across the whole map. Currently, there are darkling patrols, darkling forts, and dark creatures. Each time you defeat them, they will give you a lot of different rewards, like speedups, resources, experiences, etc.
Also, darkling patrols, darkling forts, and dark creatures that you find in Call of Dragons will have different levels. The higher their level, the better the rewards you will receive after defeating them. In this guide, we will explain the difference between darkling units and what units will give you the best rewards after you destroy them.
Darkling Patrols are the most common type of darkling unit found in Call of Dragons. They can be found across the whole map, and they come in different levels, from level 1 to level 25. To attack them, you will need command points. Each time you attack them, you will spend 50 command points. To reduce the amount of CP to 40, you can use a peacekeeping hero that has a peacekeeping talent tree build.
When you defeat the Darkling Patrol, you will get experience and additional rewards. Rewards will contain experience items, resources, and speedups. The higher their level, the better rewards are. Darkling patrols are not that hard to kill. With time, and especially when you get to Tier 4 units, you will be able to destroy them easily.
What is great about Darkling patrols is that you can attack them with all five marches that you have. After you defeat them, all your matches will earn rewards and experience. We recommend doing this because you will save a lot of time, be able to destroy them faster and easier, and most importantly, you will lose fewer troops. You can even team up with an alliance member to destroy darkling patrols. You will both get the same rewards, which are amazing.
Dark Creatures are a stronger type of dark unit that you will find in Call of Dragons. They are spread across the whole map, and there are fewer of them than the Darkling Patrol. Dark creatures have levels ranging from 7 to 25. You will also need command points to defeat them. If you want to reduce the number of CP points needed, feel free to use a peacekeeping commander.
