Hi All,

Does anyone have or know how to get any one of the three camera
working on Blaze platform running Ubuntu? Android?

Thank you

Yes. However, the sensor drivers are closed i.e., you need access to TIs release package which have these available. Typically you obtain them under a SLA/ELA.

Thanks for reply.

If I get SLA/ELA, which images and drives am I looking for?

Thank you

Not sure I understand. But, are you asking for the sensor driver path/location or the part number of the sensor that is on the platform to  request access.

Hi,

I meant , if I get NDA with TI, which M3APP image should I ask for
that support camera and 264?

Also, If there are TI proprietary drivers for Ubuntu, that I need
for camera, which drivers am I looking for?

Do I need any other binaries, so that I can capture video and
utilize Ducati IVA and other HW accelerated functionalities related to
video and dsp?

Thank you for you help as always

The one from TI should have all codecs & imaging software built in.

All the ARM side Ubuntu drivers are in Open-source.

AFAIK, you dont need any other binaries to utilize the OpenMax to leverage the ducati once you get access to the app m3 image with this software.

Hello Jay,

Thank you for replying.

Can you tell us what exactly we need from TI to get the camera and
ducati working on Blaze platform. Blaze development platform has three
cameras, however I cannot capture from any of them or use omap4 HW
acelleration.

Since you are with TI, can you tell us what exactly we need, since
currently omapedia wiki and documents (includin TI's release notes),
related to SYSLINK, GSTREAMER, GST-DUCATI are not correct have build
issues.
