An international cleaning company has been ordered to pay £217,000 in fines and costs following the death of a porter at a hospital in Bolton.

Technology giant Apple has agreed to improve health and safety conditions, worker involvement and pay for employees at three factories in China operated by one of its major suppliers previously criticised for its treatment of staff.
 

















The primary focus of the role will be to provide support to the health and safety officer who has responsibility for stadium safety operations on match days and events at the Britannia Stadium. It will include being a named Deputy on the stadium safety certificate.








Our small team supports a broad and interesting mix of health and safety issues across all parts of Basildon Borough Council. You will be able to apply your knowledge practically and sensibly across a wide range of workplaces and work activities. (1-year-fixed-term)








The post-holder will contribute to a full range of technical and safety services, including radiation protection, throughout the CSC and the Institute of Clinical Sciences. You will be required to manage all aspects of the statutory record-keeping and the administration of safety services.








This role, based from Sandhurst, is to provide support to the development of the quality, health, safety, and environmental culture, working closely with project teams throughout the UK and Ireland.
