All:

So delighted with all your Omaha System-related successes in practice, education, research, and informatics! This message highlights a few of those involving publications. I will follow up with other successes in later messages. If you attended the April 17, 2025 Online Omaha System Update Conference OR opened the links to check the slides and recording (https://www.omahasystem.org/conferences), you know my current “buzz words” are “Communicate and Collaborate”! Publications are a super way to do both.

Regardless of your Omaha System history, current employment/student status, or future plans, I hope you use References (https://www.omahasystem.org/references) and encourage others to do so! With the new school year beginning, it is an IDEAL time for educators and students to check and discuss References!! Jeanette Olsen, one of our Board members, just added many new entries, and we now have 727 entries from many countries!! Jeanette will be adding more soon from the March 2025 ACENDIO Conference that Kim de Groot described in her message posted on August 11. The introduction at the top of References indicates that all entries include the Omaha System as a substantial theme, not just a mention in passing. Note the headers and footers on References: *2022-2025 References; Languages other than English; and •• Complete terms, definitions, and codes of the Omaha System. Many entries that exist in the public domain include a URL; thus, you can open the citation and read the citation without paying, subscribing to a journal, being a member of a specific organization, or having access through employment.

Thanks to every one of the authors listed on Referrences. I want to give special thanks to several international colleagues. You can use your Search function and key words to check on these.

1. For the first time, some articles are included from Brazil. You can read their articles in Brazilian-Portuguese or easily translate them to English by following the prompts!

2. About 32 new articles are included that were published in Chinese and/or Chinese journals. It is especially hard to learn about publications in other languages. Thanks to Shaoling Wang, Frances Wong, and their team in Hong Kong for submitting these.

3. Selda Secginli and Merve Altiner Yas submitted some new publications authored by their colleagues in Turkey.

We are asking those Omaha System supporters who I just mentioned AND you to help us add new publications in any language. Please send emails to me (address is below).

Enjoy reading!
