The title of the Webinar is “Improving the Identification of Sepsis Survivors: What you Need to Know about the NEW Encounter for Sepsis Aftercare ICD-10 Code”. It will occur between 2-3:00 PM EST; 1-2:00 PM CST; 12-1:00 MST; and 11:00-12:00 PST. The new code, z51A, will help alert home care agencies and clinicians as well as other post-acute providers to patients who have a diagnosis of sepsis and are discharged from hospitals and other health facilities.
Kathy is one of our Omaha System Board members. The research conducted by her and her colleagues will be considered as we work on the next update of the Omaha System.
