You're invited to our Expert Webinar Presentation! These webinars are free and open to everyone. We are hosting a new expert webinar with Dr. Karen Monsen.

Karen Monsen is professor emeritus in the University of Minnesota School of Nursing where she led Informatics initiatives and education. She is an internationally known informatician and healthcare quality researcher who received her PhD and MS from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, and bachelor’s degrees in nursing (Creighton University) and biology (Luther College). A public health nurse and manager by trade, her expertise is in standardization and methodological development for reuse of data for intervention effectiveness, quality improvement, and program evaluation. Monsen founded and directed an international practice-based research network, the Omaha System Partnership, in which researchers, clinicians, educators, and industry partners worked together to answer clinical questions, advance health care quality, and improve population health.

3.      Critique and compare various data reports from narrative and pathway documentation vis a vis agency needs.
