Yesterday, I found this video illustrating a very clean brass etch done with a laser cutter and a specialty masking tape. I think this would be fun to play with for both brass parts and for PCB etching, but the tape is quite expensive everywhere I’ve looked, and shipping is $10 as well. Would anyone be interested in chipping in $5 or $10 towards a roll for the space? We’ll choose length based on how many people are interested.
