Keyholders,
I'm informing you of an incident that occurred this week where a member was found removing group property and property from the personal storage boxes. The Omaha Police Department was contacted and the locks were immediately changed on the studio. We have revoked the membership of the person involved.
We are creating new keys and will set up key exchanges over the next few days. The first exchange will be Tuesday, July 30th, at open studio time. Please bring your current key(s) to turn in and we will issue new ones. When you are at the studio, please check your personal storage boxes.
We were fortunate that we had active members who reported this incident quickly. The loss is minimal. The OMG board is taking steps to increase the security on the space. However, we will always rely on the members to report suspicious incidents.
We will get your keys replaced as quickly as we can. Please contact me or another board member if you have any concerns.
