[OMG] Pulse jet

There was a brief discussion about pulse jets at the last meeting. I ran across this page from a noted builder of pulse jets this morning, thought I'd pass it along:

Except I was thinking something a bit easier to start with.

Just need a tap the same size as a spark plug.

I can get you a tap the size of spark plug threads, just let me know which size spark plug you want. It needs to be a standard threads, the selection of metric taps I have access to is limited...

Looks like spark plugs come in a few sizes.

M10x1.0

M12X1.25

M14x1.25

M18x1.5

7/8-18 NS

I was just going to pick on up from a hardware store, so I dont know what i would need yet.

If youll be there tonight Ill grab a plug and check it there.

You won't find taps in any of those sizes at a hardware store. If you want to buy one I suggest going to nebraska-iowa industrial fasteners (at 84th and K). They will likely be the cheapest in town if they have the size you need...
