[Omaha Jug] June 4th meeting

I want to apologize for the last minute post to this group. We have
been using the Meetup page http://www.meetup.com/omahajug/ and I
totally forgot to post the reminder here in Google groups

Monday June 4th 2012
We will be holding the next meeting at the Shriner building (Tangier
Shrine)
2823 South 84th Street Omaha, NE 68124-3210

from 7:00 PM till 9:00 PM
The room holds up to 25 people

This will be where we will hold all meetings from now on and will save
us from having to relocate from month to month

Please let me know who will be attending.

We will begin the development of a website from beginning to
end and start on a small project for the Shriner's
They have approved us recreating their website in Joomla 2.5
(currently running Joomla 1.0.x)
This will give us the opportunity to develop a site from scratch,
select the top extensions for their needs, categories their articles,
create menus etc...

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Hazzaa, I'm glad you sent this note, I just got hooked-in at meetup.
I'm going to have to work tonight and won't be able to attend, darnit.
If there's something that can be done at home before the july meeting,
even some graphics/image work (I used to teach adobe PS), I could
possibly do something like that in the interim to help out.

Thanks for the feedback
For this month (June) I'll actually be asking the members if they
would like to connect via Skype or discuss here on a weekly basis to
work on the site. If we only work on it during our monthly meetings,
it would take forever to complete the project.
This way we can get it done faster, and move on to other discussions
