Technically I've been leading it since Dean's schedule forced him to
cut back on some responsibilities. Like Graden said, if someone is
willing to step up, I think it is a great benefit to keeping the group
going. I sent the first "Help Wanted" call out in August looking for
someone to take over as Leader. So far we have had no takers (all for
good reasons I might add).
If you are willing to step up and take the reins, that would be
awesome. This would not be helping the person in charge, you would be
in charge. Interested?
My thoughts to get more people involved is to build a website for us
and get some promoting done in the area. Get more Joomla users
involved as well as potential clients for web builders/developers.
I have several friends that I can call in as speakers (Developers of
major Joomla extensions)
BUT as I said, I can't commit to full control at this time. If January
goes as I expect, then the possibility will be there
