The working connections conference[1] is wonderful stuff!   It's a great chance to teach a full class in less than a week's time.   The students are college and high-school teachers: a wonderful bunch!

If you're interested, please contact Jared Bernard!

Thanks! --Matt Payne

Matt,

I found your contact information from the Omaha Java User Group site. I'm an instructor at Iowa Western Community College and we are attempting to find an experienced java developer professional to give some beginning java instruction for our Working Connections Conference June 13 -17, 2016.

The audience would be community college IT faculty and High School teachers from the metro area and beyond who need professional development training. Compensation would include a $3000 stipend and meals, as well as travel and hotel if traveling extended distances. The presenter would have the option to teach a 2, 3 or 5 day instruction session.

Would it be possible to communicate this information to your user group to see who may be interested in this opportunity? Those interested can email me with a brief description of their developer and/or instructing experience with Java.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

?
