Hi,
I have customized omaha according to my requirements and it work with all my applications.
It works fine when i push my application on server,it gets downloaded and installed silently.
But when i tried to update the omaha(i.e GoogleUpdate.exe) it failed with error  0x80040c01.
I am creating a Tagged Meta Installer with app id of omaha.
In logs it says

currently i am using app name as the app name of my omaha exe.

How can i send updates for customized omaha and what is right way to do it?

Thanks
Amit

Your server shouldn't send a tag when you're doing a self-update.  Your command line should be simply "/update".  (Omaha itself will add the /sessionid.)

The command line parser is throwing an error because it wasn't expecting a tag on /update.
