How to disable the automatic updatings of Chrome?

hi to everybody.

I would like to use Chrome as browser in a well specified version without having automatic updatings, but I don't succeed in disabling them.

Now, I know that the automatic updatings of Chrome are managed from 'GoogleUpdate' a version of Omaha, and I come here to ask help.

Does someone to say me how to disable 'completely' the automatic updatings, so that allow me to choose when and as to adjourn Chrome?

If the computer running Chrome is joined to a domain, then group policies can be used to control the behavior of updates.

Otherwise, there is no user-controlled mechanism to fully disabled the updates.

Is there a reason why automatic, silent updates don't work for you?

Unfortunately silent updates work and I don't want to make work; I'm speaking of my personal laptop which-in I enter as administrator, the operating system is win7.

U've perhaps given me an idea, I will try to look for if there any possibility to use policies of group using 'gpedit.msc.'

I make you know for developments.

Thank you! To emphasize the point, the group policies will work only if the computer is joined to a domain.
