Any idea if the GRIT sources for the .rc files can be released? If I want
to change the UI strings, it'd be nice to be able to rebuild the .rc files
using GRIT instead of just editing them by hand.

I agree that GRIT sources are very useful. GRIT was not an open source
project when we released Google Update as open source. Since then, GRIT has
become open source, and we should just make the sources available.
