Hi Our Moment
Georgetown Microfinance is having its first speaker event tomorrow
(Friday 2/12) in ICC 104 at 12noon. Drew McWay is the co-founder of a
new online microfinance lending platform called Dvelo

His presentation is titled “Microfinance: Meeting the Capital Gap”.
He will speak for 30 minutes followed by Q&A on the challenges
microfinance is currently facing and how Dvelo aims to address these
problems. He also plans to speak to his experiences with microfinance
institutions on-the-ground in Peru and South Africa and share his
thoughts on social entrepreneurship. It should be a very interesting
presentation and lunch will be provided.
