drama at Burial Grounds....

Burial Grounds, our meeting place for go, was closed this evening due to an altercation last night.

Around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night, a fight broke out in the street in front of Burial Grounds.  A patron emerged from Burial Grounds and attempted to intervene.  He was then shot by a person in the street, a person well known to the local street community, a veteran with PTSD --- who then committed suicide.  (Details can be found at theolympian.com).  The wounded person is expected to survive.

Two of Burial Ground's front windows were shot out in the altercation, hence the temporary closure.

I assume that Burial Grounds will be back to "normal" in a day or two.
