ACT*ACTIVE-NETWORK - credit card charge - $89.95

I did my taxes yesterday and reviewed 2021 credit card history.  This will be the 3^rd year in a row that I have my credit card company cancel this charge.

I almost certain it is related to UltraSignUp.  I've also been running UltraSignUp for 3 years.  This year it showed up after I registered and donated to TurkeyTrot.

Can anyone confirm this?

I think my theory is correct.  A friend just confirmed it happened to them last year.  If trail runners are getting an annual charge in addition to registration fees, that is soooo wrong.  She said there might be a hidden checkbox.  I'll look for it the next time I register. 

I've had to change my credit card in the past because the bank doesn't know the source.  It is a real pain.

Thanks Andrea, I know that but I never knew how.  I'm convinced it was via UltraSignup. I signed up for the Cap Peak race and could NOT find any checkboxes or anything, anywhere.  I have NO idea how it happened but I'm pretty diligent about checkboxes and unwanted crap.

I'm going back and forth with them right now trying to correct it.
