Construction Begins on State Avenue and Phoenix Street Sidewalks

On Monday July 23, the City’s contractor, Rognlin’s Inc., will begin construction on the State Avenue and Phoenix Street Sidewalks project. This project will construct a continuous sidewalk on the north side of State Avenue from Wilson Street to Phoenix Street, and on the west side of Phoenix Street from State Avenue to Martin Way.
This work will consist of clearing, grading, and construction of the new sidewalks. Nearby residents should expect construction noise typical of this type of work. Travelers should expect traffic delays on streets and sidewalks along the construction route. Flaggers will direct motorists and pedestrians through the construction area.
