Construction Begins on the Boulevard / Morse Merryman Roundabout
On July 30, Active Construction will establish a new traffic pattern at the Boulevard Road and Morse-Merryman intersection. Using temporary traffic control devices, they will direct traffic to use the intersection as a roundabout, in the same manner as when the project is complete. This will allow workers to remove the existing pavement and construct the new roundabout. The traveling surface will be crushed rock until final paving takes place in the Fall. Drivers should expect traffic delays and plan ahead. Allow extra time to move through the work zone or use alternate routes to get to your destination. Flaggers will manage traffic to ensure the safety of workers and anyone passing through the work zone.
