Tacoma Contra Dance, with River and Dante

Greetings, Dancers,
Please join us this Sunday afternoon, March 17, for music by River Scheuerell and Dante Faulk, a young, dynamic duo from Olympia who play fiddle, cello, guitar, and bodhran. Your caller is Rich Goss, fresh from his experience last weekend calling part of the Portland Megaband dance.
We dance at the Fircrest Community Center, 555 Contra Costa Ave., in Fircrest. Please remember that the speed limit is 25 mph in Fircrest, and they mean it!
Workshop for newcomers starts at 3:00 pm, followed by the dance from 3:30 to 6:00. Admission is $10 to $25 on a “sliding scale.”
Last month we had a contest for “best hat”, and no one won. Let’s try it again this Sunday. “Best hat” means novel, silly, or whatever the judges think is really good. See you Sunday for another fun Tacoma Contra Dance.
