The New Year’s Eve dance is in Olympia this year. Details are below. Really good band! I will be there, and look forward to a great evening.

Subject: Oly Contra - New Year's Eve dance, Dec. 31st!
Come dance this Wednesday, December 31st at the South Bay Grange in Olympia! I can't think of a better way to celebrate New Year's Eve than to dance in community to fabulous live music by The Spantickles and fun dances with Eric Curl!
Who: The Spantickles with calling by Eric Curl! The band is Hayden Stern (fiddle), Rosie O'Neill (guitar and fiddle), and Dave Bartley (guitar and mandolin).
Doors open: 8:30 pm
Dance: 9:00 pm to after midnight!
Admission: Sliding scale - suggested $20-40.
Role terms: larks & robins
Note: This special dance is hosted by the South Bay Grange, following a tradition of alternating New Year's Eve dances with Tacoma each year. We will not be dancing our regular 4th Saturday this weekend. The next regular dance will be January 10th.

Health and safety: masks encouraged and provided, but not required. Full COVID protocols.
We encourage dancers to do all that they can to take care of their own health and the health of those around them. For those who can, this could mean staying up to date on all available vaccinations (Influenza, COVID, etc.), wearing masks, and staying home when sick.
