Hayden and Friends, Contra Dance next Sunday

Greetings, Dancers,
Please join us next Sunday afternoon, March 15, for contra dance music by Hayden Stern and Friends, with calling by Gwen Rousseau. The dance is at Christ Church Wells Hall, 310 North K Street, Tacoma. Workshop at 3:00, dance 3:30 to 6:00.
The band is Hayden Stern on fiddle, Patrick Gunning on guitar, and Ali Webb on piano playing high-energy tunes with complex harmonies drawn from Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian, and other traditions. The musicians are very talented and will help us celebrate the return of our dance to Wells Hall.
If you are new to contra dancing, be there at 3:00 for the workshop. Many experienced dancers join in, and they are very welcoming and helpful to newcomers who want to learn contra dancing.
Plenty of parking is available on the street and in the lot next to the hall.
Admission is $15 to $30 “sliding scale”. That means pay what you can afford. We know from experience that an average of $19 to $20 per dancer lets us cover the costs.
Bring your friends, or come alone. We have plenty of singles. See you Sunday.
