Meet up to plan for the month of June
Free Skool Olympia
As some of you are aware, the Free Skool took off the month of March so
that we could do outreach for the upcoming month of June. Let's have a
meeting on May 22nd in the afternoon so that we can have report backs
and plan what we can do for June. Let's say, for the sake of having a
time, date, and place, May 22nd at 1 at the Timberland Library. This, of
course, is able to be changed and not set in stone; what do folks think?

I would REALLY like to attend a meeting for reviving the Free Skool.
However, next week The Icarus Project is hosting Mad Pride Week. Next
Sunday I will be facilitating workshops and cannot attend a meeting. The
weekend after that I will be attending a Street Medic Training in Portland.
Would anyone be down for meeting during the week? How about Thursday the
26th?
I realize that is not our usual meeting time, but it seems like Sundays
may not be working for folks anymore.
Also, I like the idea of us meeting at the library. I am down to reserve
a room and make an event on Facebook. I can also distro fliers!
PROPOSAL: THURSDAY, MAY 26th - What time works for people? Day time?
Night time? How about 5 PM???

ALSO! This is important! Wendy Morris is interested in
organizing/reviving the Free Skool. At the moment, from what I can tell,
the biggest barrier is that we do not have a space to host classes or
meetings. Wendy works at Community Resources and has offered to see if
we can at least have general meetings there. I am going to meet with
them very soon to see the space and work out scheduling. If anyone is
interested in seeing the space with me and meeting with Wendy Morris let
me know.
Maybe we can have the meeting there?
Or we can just meet at the library then focus on finding a regular
location for meetings again.
