Hi, Luis! Welcome to the group. This is Mel, from the Manila Curriculum Jam (and formerly the Boston Game Jam), the same one who sent you an email a few minutes ago (from a different address). What type of Jam are you interested in running? We're trying to get as many Curriculum Jams as possible going on the first weekend of October so that the teachers from different countries will be able to talk with each other while they're working, so if you're interested in an teacher-focused Jam, let me know.

The first thing you'll need to find is a location - get it donated if possible, so you don't have to charge attendees anything. You'll need somewhere large enough for about 10 teams (perhaps 30-40 people) to work, eat, hang out, and test their creations. We found two large rooms to be enough space for the Game Jam, but you'd probably need more rooms (I'd aim for 6) for a Curriculum Jam (because it's possible to test 10 computer games in the same room at the same time, but harder to hold 10 classes in the same room at the same time).
