Helloall, I am looking for some assistance in installing a particular German parking script modification into another mod, or other mods. I cannot find any guides on this, or anything relating to it. For example, the LA mod has no parking script, I would like to be able to park the vehicles. Can anybody help me out?

Generally speaking, with all scripts, you place then in the mods script folder, under commands, and then assign it to the vehicle in question as a command. I'm not familiar with this specific script, but this should work, looking at the information available. It doesn't appear to rely on callers or naming the objects using it in the script, so you should be fine to just assign the parking command to a vehicle and use it in game

Apologies, I'm not very familiar with modifying mods themselves, I believe I have placed the script itself in the right spot, I just need some assistance with the Hilfsobjekt_Icon.rar file. Where precisely do I place the icons, curser and command, and what exactly is the "Hilfsobjekt" content and where does this go?

Within the mod directory, there's a folder called ui, there's folders here for command icons, as well as cursor icons. The object is the file for the model. You can place this in a folder such as Objects/Objects or whatever one there is. The model file is what you'll see as the parking area. You'll need to make a prototype for the hilfsobjekte, and it has to go in the folder with this name: Prototypes/Objects/Hilfsobjekte/Ausrichtung.e4p

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "a folder such as objects/objects or whatever one there is", will need a little more clarity. Do I make said folder or am I putting it in whatever objects there are? What exactly do you mean by object in this context?

You're essentially adding a new vehicle because the parking marker has to appear as an object or you won't see anything proper. You'll either get an error or an issue with the model and get a big grey block.

I have a trixbox installation that utilizes an XML Park script from Aastra. I am now building a straight FreePBX server without TrixBox and I am having difficulties getting the same functionality out of this Park script. I would also like to try and make the Voice mail, call forwarding and do not disturb scripts work also. For now though I would settle for park. I have copied all of the scripts to var/www/html/aastra/ the park script is in an asterisk folder under the aastra folder. I beleive I have all the permissions set correctly. I am calling the script with the following code mapped to a button on the aastra.

Although this walkthrough got some of the Aastra XML scripts working, it did not allow the DND, Vmail, Park, Call Forwarding, etc. scripts to run. The reason for this is that this walkthrough missed this one last important step.

I was messing around with the new speeddialxfer button type for another purpose and I found a quicker way to park a call. Previously when using the above parking method the server would always read out the parking lot extention number to the person parking the call. This was and still is needed for anyone not using the park.php script. After using the park.php visual parking lot this reading out of the parking lot extension number is no longer necessary. I have been wanting a quicker way to transfer a call to the parking lot ever since I started using park.php. I have seen a few other methods of trying to accomplish this but my new solution is easy and works great You can set your park button on a progkey softkey or topsoftkey with slight variations of this setup.

I can dump the call over but I need to know what parking lot it goes to. Even using the visual parking lots this is important because you may have 5 or 6 calls in the parking lots and some with unknown caller id.

@deanos83 Sounds like pulling out the brake lever is the same as pressing (and holding) down a joystick button, as seen by X-Plane. If that's the case, then you might not need a script at all. Instead of "toggle", try assigning the command "sim/flight_controls/brakes_max". That way the brakes should get released whenever you release the lever.

We'll need some more info about how the switch behaves. Could you share a screen-shot of the joystick settings menu showing your switch? Also, when you press a joystick button while on that page it's button number on the right hand side of the menu will change from dark blue to light blue. Could you describe what happens as you move the switch from out to in and back out again? I.e. is there one number or two? If there is two does one stay illuminated all the time while the switch is in one position, or does one number light up briefly? If there is only one number, does it light up in the out position or the in position? Does the number stay lit, or does it just light up briefly?

The number goes dark blue when the switch is pulled out, and stays blue. When I push it in, it changes to light blue. Should be simple enough to assign, but I can only find a toggle dataref rather than an on/off, hence why I think I need a script.

Ok, so it acts as a regular button but in a way opposite to what I would expect. It's pressed with the lever in the release position. It should work with sim/flight_controls/brakes_max, but in the wrong direction.

Thanks. The command you have assigned 'Parking brake on/off' does not exist in the stock sim. We can't really know how a custom command is programmed to work, so you'll have to ask the author of the plugin that created it for help.

I am trying to use GCODE scripts to properly park my extruder after pausing a print, but I am having an issue of a long and substantially thick string, and what seems to be a bit of either a layer shift, or sputtering that is visible for the rest of that layer. I got these from this site, with it set for Cura with M82, and an increased retraction I hoped would have helped more. I can't seem to quite figure it out. I am using the following GCODE.

ACT ONE SCENE A INT. ESCALATOR - GOING DOWN TO A GARAGE. IN SINGLE FILE: GEORGE, JERRY AND ELAINE, WHO'S CARRYING A PLASTIC BAG WITH GOLDFISH, AND KRAMER WHO'S HAVING A ROUGH TIME WITH A LARGE, HEAVY BOX.

JERRY No they don't. They're out on some big picnic. They're cooking burgers. They're making out on blankets. They're not at some mall in Jersey watching their friends trying to find the world's cheapest air-conditioner.

GEORGE You should see what my father used to go through before he bought a car. He'd go from state to state. He was away for weeks at a time. It was like he was running for President and he was going through the primaries. We'd get phone calls from motels in New Hampshire.

GEORGE Yeah, right. I'll just go up and say, "Hi, how ya' doing? Would you like a glass of white wine?" JERRY Before you got within twenty feet of this woman, she'd have her finger on the mace button. She's like an expensive car with one of those motion-sensor force field alarms. Any sudden movement in the area could set her off.

KRAMER You know when you hold it in like that you can cause a lot of damage to your bladder. That's what happens to truck drivers. They hold it in all the time. Eventually it starts coming out involuntarily. JERRY Alright.

ELAINE (CONT'D) Hey, watch it. ...Did you see that car? Maniac. Can you explain something to me? I got six questions wrong on my drivers test. That's the maximum. I read the book, I'm a college graduate. This is a country where fifty percent of its high school students can't locate Europe on a map. How are they all passing that test? It's a mystery.

GEORGE I can tell you this. If I am not in front of my house at six-fifteen, when my parents get there, they will put me on an aggravation installment plan that will compound with interest for decades.

JERRY Where was the bathroom in this mall? There are six-hundred stores, I didn't see one bathroom. What is this, like a joke? They finished building the mall and they go, "Oh my god, we forgot the bathrooms."

GEORGE I should've hit the little son-of-a-bitch. I can't stand kids. Adults think it's so wonderful how honest kids are. I don't need that kind of honesty. I'll take a deceptive adult over an honest kid any day.

ELAINE (CONT'D) Oh that's funny? Is that funny? Well tell me if you think this is funny: These fish are dying! They're gasping for oxygen right now! They'll be floating in an hour. Is that funny too?

JERRY I've had this condition since I was eleven! I've been in and out of hospitals my whole life. I have no control over it. Doctors have told me that when I feel it, the best thing to do is just release it. Otherwise, I could die.

JERRY Because I could get Uromysitisis poisoning and die. That's why!...Do you think I enjoy living like this?...the shame, the humiliation...You know I have been issued a public urination pass by the city because of my condition. Unfortunately my little brother ran out of the house with it this morning.
