Greetings, OES families!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Milk & Cookies last night. If you didn't have a chance to shop yet, the Book Fair will be open until noon tomorrow or you can shop online through Saturday: http://onlinebookfairs.scholastic.com/default.aspx?f=3723415. All orders will be shipped to the school free of charge and sent home with your child.

Next Tuesday (10/17), let Mamma Lucia do the cooking. The PTA will earn a portion of all sales when you provide a flyer. You can print the flyer from our website: https://olneyespta.files.wordpress.com/2017/09/mamma-lucia-flyer-2017.pdf. If you don't have access to a printer, a limited number of flyers are available in the entryway of the school on the PTA bulletin board.

The Dragon Dash is coming! On Saturday, October 21st (2-4pm), our kids will be running, walking, skipping, dancing, and exercising their way around a short course in our biggest fundraiser of the year. To register, go to: http://www.olney.myfunrun.com. Once you've registered, you'll be emailed a link that you can send to family and friends who wish to donate. Parents and siblings are welcome to participate for a $5 registration fee.

Credit Card donations can be made online (fees involved). To donate by check, go to the child's page on www.olney.myfunrun.com, click on Student Resources box at the bottom of the page and choose Offline Donation. Enter the name and amount and it will count toward your child's donations tally.

Checks should be made payable to "OES PTA." Be sure to include your child's name and teacher either in the memo line or on an attached piece of paper. Please send them into school with your child as soon as possible. Donors who need to mail checks can send them directly to the school:

Donations will be accepted on the day of the Dragon Dash, but only checks received by Friday, October 20, will count toward the student total.

If you are unable to participate in the Dragon Dash due to a scheduling conflict or other reason, students are still invited to register and fundraise so that they can be eligible for the rewards and prizes.
