OES Dragon Tales Newsletter (February 19, 2018)

Good morning, OES families!

This Thursday, students will be participating in our school's 10th annual Jump Rope for Heart event.  Our goal this year is to raise $12,000 for the American Heart Association.  Students can raise money online by registering at www.heart.org/jump or they can bring donations into school in the pledge envelopes that were sent home last week. 

To celebrate all of the students' hard work during Jump Rope for Heart, there will be a school-wide popsicle party on Thursday.  Thank you to everyone who already signed up to donate a box or two.  We still need 20 more boxes of popsicles in order to make sure every student gets to enjoy a treat.  If you can help, please sign up today and drop off popsicles tomorrow morning between 8:30-9:30 am.

Take a break from cooking and grab dinner from Urban Bar-B-Que this Thursday night.  Stop by the Olney location between 4 - 9 pm for dine-in or carryout to support our school.  Urban Bar-B-Que will donate 10% of all sales to the OES PTA so please tell friends and neighbors.  No flyer is required.
